Hundested Propeller is a Danish company based on the island of Zealand, not far from the Danish capital of Copenhagen. Founded in 1921, it was originally called Jørgensen & Højsgaard Engineering Company. Today we are known as Hundested Propeller A/S. In the beginning Hundested Propeller carried out repair and maintenance work on fishing vessel engines. Hundested began to manufacture its own controllable pitch propellers, the product in which the company specializes in today. Controllable pitch propeller systems are now Hundested's core business. More than 8,000 propeller units have been supplied to the leading engine makers, and to nearly all types of vessels: Fishing vessels, government patrol boats, cargo vessels, tugs, ferries, training ships, yachts, etc.
