Around 1990 PBW ventured into export trading of specialized engineering spares for engines, compressors, purifiers and pumps for marine application.With a view to meet the increased demand, copper lead strip sintering plant was setup in 1992 to manufacture thin wall bearings. In 1997, PBW was accredited with ISO 9002. PBW manufactures approx.1.5 million pieces bearings and bushings per annum, ranging from 20 mm to 300 mm diameter.
